== Description ==
Entex is a complete template based framework, with clean and organized presentation, ment for large articles. This theme is using the classic sidebar and is NOT suitable for vertical scrolling fun blocks or huge textsize solutions. This core theme has only initial layout and should be extended with a child theme. Its still a Release Candidate for the public, still making adjustments, since we decide to let this framework bee free for everyone. You are welcome with suggestions.

* Entex is an approach to use WordPress as an web application, not as a block based vertical template.
* The idea is to handle a lot of information and large articles, presented more as an APP to the user.
* The Typhographic elements are based on working with Adobe Indesign and documents, Mobile APP GUI, normal sizes on monitor devices, and follows semantics for printed media, not made up rules.
* Entex is using WordPress foundation of templates and post-formats, and using it all the way, everywhere.
* The approach is also to use the core built in attachments functionalities instead of third part sliders or galleries. Media are also using featured images, and more.
* To awake all the features of a sidebar, you need to access Entex external Widgets, as they are not allowed to be built in.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Does this have any settings or options interface? =
No, everything can be changed by a huge amount of definitions in functions.php, until we have time to move selected theme options into Customizer. The latter is mighty feeded to adjust the layout.

= Is this theme using any kind of Mega menu? =
No, you must break down large top levels into user friendly navigation with subpages. The layout will break if your architecture and planning not following Entex approach, or if you not using any of the other 8 menu locations this theme provide. 

= Should I use a child theme after installing this? =
Yes, This release is only the naked and hidden truth. You can totally refine the layout with the Customizer and definitions in your child functions.php

= Is this theme compatible with Gutenberg? =
Yes, but backend is still in development to reflect the front end, and also waiting for Gutenberg team to make some decisions.

= Is this theme working with the Classic Editor? =
Yes and No. Back-end layout is NOT running nice with Gutenberg AND Classic editor at the SAME time. But working ONLY with the classic interface works perfect as this theme extends the TinyMCE functionality. 

= Is there a pro version? =
No, and support is limited while this Release Candidate is building up. However, all Entex extensions from Intervik Development are on their way to be released as plugins for free. Same for all documentations.

= Is this theme accessibility ready? =
Yes, but not yet as the recommendations are set from WordPress organisation today. The tag will be added when creditientals are met.

= Does this theme works with WooCommerce? =
Yes, but you need the Entex Theme WooCommerce plugin to make the layout work correctly. Entex theme is running many WooCommerce based solutions by Intervik, but due to translations and custom templates, built in is not allowed in public Themes at WordPress respority.

1. In your admin panel, go to Appearance -> Themes and click the 'Add New' button.
2. Type in Entex in the search form and press the 'Enter' key on your keyboard.
3. Click on the 'Activate' button to use your new theme right away.

== Upgrade Notice ==

= 1.0 =
* This is not for now a global solution for installs with many plugins, huge top level menues or older and well adjusted sites.
* The theme uses its own layout framework and is suitable for a clean start.
* Main menu location can only handle around five top level items. You need to break down large menues into subpages, as this theme is built for.
* Please read the documentation of the architecture and functionalities of building menues with subpages.
* Do not use Classic Editor based content without turning your Gutenberg off by definition. Use either the whole old interface or only Gutenberg.
* The Customizer is very powerful and takes a lot of recources for now, while this Release Candidate is making improvements.
